How many of these points are true for you?
- I wear my phone on my body most of the time (hold it in my hand, in a pocket, in my purse etc).
- Sometimes my eyes strain because I have been looking at my phone too long.
- When I can’t find my phone my heart races and I am in a slight panic until I find it again.
- I take my phone from room to room as I walk around my house.
- I place my phone on the table during meals (at home or at restaurants).
- I’ve glanced at my phone because I thought a notification popped up, only to realize it was just a glare.
- I use my phone while talking in the presence of others (check emails, social media etc).
- I can not get to my destination without my phone’s GPS.
- I spend more time taking photos of myself and others during an experience rather then just enjoying it.
- My phone is next to my bed.
- My phone is the last thing I check before I go to bed.
- My phone is the first thing I interact with in the morning.
- I’ve thought I heard my phone give a notification but then realized it didn’t.
- I have accidentally dropped my phone on my child. 2 points if you were nursing an infant… guilty!
- I have sat next to a friend or family member as we scroll through our phones rather then speaking to one another.
Most are true for me unfortunately! #14 has happended once and I felt so bad! We definitely try not to have our phones out during dinner time though.
